Tony Yurkovich is a Penn Gamma Founding Father from the Class of 1992, graduating from Pitt with a degree in Legal Studies.
Currently he is employed by the federal government and lives in West Virginia with his family.
His fondest memories while in the Chapter were experiences with his Pledge Brothers that eventually culminated in the Chapter getting its Charter back in 1990.
Tony takes great pride in his work, a product of the dedication he put in with his fellow Founding Fathers to put in the time and effort to build something.
His career advice is this: “[Do] not make income your top priority. I know it’s not as simple to just say, ‘follow your passion.’ And we all have to make a living. But I think it’s important to find a career that brings a lot of personal fulfillment. I really believe that if you’re doing something you love, or working for an organization that you take a lot of pride in, that will be reflected in your dedication and work ethic, and the financial rewards will follow.”
Dedicated brothers like Tony are the cornerstone of what has made Penn Gamma great since the 1990 re-Chartering, and his example is one that should inspire brothers young and old.
