Chris Mikula graduated from Pitt in 1998 with a degree in Movement Science and lots of fond memories of his time in Penn Gamma. “My greatest memories of being a SigEp were the friendships I developed while at Pitt. The spring breaks to South Padre Texas, and Panama City Fla. Marky Mark, Dharma Sons, and Greek weeks were also memorable.”
Currently he works as a Health and Physical Education Teacher in the North Hills School District in the Pittsburgh area, and lives there with his family. Next school year he will move from elementary to middle school P.E., he says, “to start a new challenge.”
Brother Mikula found his passion in teaching physical education and encourages recent graduates to do the same: “Your journey may be difficult, but when you achieve your goals and reflect on the journey, you will be filled with pride and you will be forever grateful for the journey.”
He remains in the ranks of successful Penn Gammas through the years who have set their minds to their goals and have emerged as examples for the undergraduates to follow.
